We have not lost , but we have WON. Wonderful performance. I used to watch only Viv Richards and Brian Lara bat. But saw entire 50 overs of our Indian women batting. Wonderful and excellent. ðððð All praise to them. Experienced seniors in the team must have taken d lead and responsibility at the crease till the end instead of leaving on youngsters and bowlers. Poonam did it , but unfortunately given Out. Just one experienced bat would have made it easy victory. That is what was required. A guide to youngsters on d field OR atleast a message. Could have won with singles and without trying to hit over. It was all panic nd tense seeing the cup right in front. It all comes of experience.
OTHER GAMES-Rediff and others have only Time Wasting CRISCKET.No news of U S BADMINTON where TWO INDIANS played FINAL and H S PRONOY won.No news of ongoing ULTIMATE TABLE TENNIS in N DELHI where INDIANS are performing Remarkable. Pitty.Tragic for Other sports Promotion.

DRASTIC CHANGE SINCE THE PREVIOUS WWC,PROUD TO WATCH THE MATCHES,THE OPPONENTS WERE NAIL BITING.CAPTAIN M.RAJ GOAL WAS REACH TO SEMI FINAL,FINAL WAS A SURPRISE ELEMENT.THE TEAM WORK IS GOOD,REMEMBER NEVER BACK DOWN.HOLD THE NERVES TILL THE LAST BALL. BCCI WAKE UP & GIVE CHANCE TO FRESH TALENT & INCREASE THEIR PAY PACKET.
The game of CRICKET or for that matter any game has to be played in the spirit of sportsmanship. Indian girls' performance has been fantastic. Had they won, which I believe they deserved, in the finals would have been great. That they made a valiant effort is undeniable. English girls performed better on the given day and got the better of their opponents. However this does not take away the shine and dazzle of the way our girls played. They have written history on the running waters of the Tames. We are all proud. In passing I would like to say exactly the same about the performance of ouy BOYS' team. We indians - boys or girls are genuinly good in cricket. Let's keep working. We will get there.
