IPL is ruining cricket in this country. Now cricketers are making plenty of money just playing IPL. Look at players like Irfan Pathan, Yousuf Pathan, Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla etc. Most of them are content with playing in IPL and making money. They are not worried about playing for India. That pride is now missing.

What has IPL got to do with KL Rahul or this article ?? Cricketers BTW also get a lot of money for representing Team India, if BCCI stops paying them they will go on a strike like Australian Cricketers and refuse to play for there country .All the names you quoted like Pathan brothers etc are never or more likely will ever selected for Team India that's why they have to make do with IPL .As for pride be it a Cricketer or any professional sportsman they take pride in every match that they play whether it is for IPL, Nation or even there Mohalla. Lastly why is making money a bad thing ?? it may be a bad thing for Marxists in Kerala but a good thing for rest of India and the world.BTW did you work for free in your job ??
