Zaheer's assistance is needed to sort out team India's weakness against left arm swing which we felt in England. Jadeja had to give practice at net as being left arm bowler. In absence of Zaheer, Nehra can be useful as for part-time.
very sad that ganguly sachin and vvs exceeded their brief and tried to force dravid and zaheer on the indian team even though both dravid and zaheer did not wish that post and neither did they have the time to spare....
it is sad that even though they were only authorized to appoint the coach they tried to go further than that and opened themselves to contempt of court...

did the trio not know that the coach has the authority to appoint the support staff...like wright chappell kirsten kumble who all appointed the support staff of their choice....

Are you sick to tell that the trio has exceeded their brief. They did the right thing. One cannot run a institution as per his fancies. If you have forgotten, let me remind you one thing, the current coach Ravi Shastri was removed from Indian Cricket team after a huge blacklash from Indian fans throughout the country. If i am not mistaken, he was the only cricketer till date whose posters were garlanded with pair of shoes & chappals. So don't talk about calibre, because in Indian Cricket board, politics survives & that is the irony. Sorry to say but kohli has also become the part of this politics & oppurtunists.

Mr. pradeepkumar ...the trio HAS appointed shastri as the coach (despite what you call huge backlash from indian fans and whose posters were garlanded with shoes) of the indian team? correct ? (or are you denying that too??)...
so does that mean that ganguly vvs and sachin too have become part of politics and opportunists???

btw the public backlash and garlanding posters dont mean anything...there was also public/fans backlash against yuvraj being taken for 2011 odi wc...and against dhawan for 2015 odi wc and champions trophy...
public backlash and fans opinion has no value at all and it changes with every match and series...
