No one is above the Institution-Cricket is bigger than Virat and he caanot always call the shots.Coach takes care of 15 others and not just Virat.Let BCCI stand up and tell Virat to play the Game and not interfere with the coaches

Ganguly very well know Virat Kohli prefer Ravi Shastri as coach and may be there is pressure from th etop board officials infavour of their favourite chamch Shastri who is enjoying all along position, power and perks by his chamchagiri.Ganguli is very smart and wise person and he stopped Shastri last time from becoming coach by remaining absent in the meeting for selection of coach. Most probably he will not decide in favour of Shastri, the ex average bowler, the most boring batsman and a lousy fielder whose qualities can not inspire anyone.
Which country or board or company ever operates in this shambolic way? who supports players over coaches when coaches are right and are giving the results necessary ? this is BS. Imagine how important this position is that 4/5 interviews were completed via Skype --thats just telling us a puppet will earn money as coach and India will never be the better nation taking forward steps. Get Dhoni back as captain if need be or Rahane -sack Virat if india cricket wants to move forward. Again, its BCCI's fault in handling this matter with inexperience. Virat is just another joshila immature(who obviously thinks he's mature) young cricketer who's fighting it out for the country.
I must say once again that Indian team does not need a coach. Thanks to the glamour associated with cricket in India, Indian taeam will always have few "Superstars & Megastars" in national team who's skyhigh egos will never accept leadership of anyone else, especially an ex cricketer, however big yesteryear name he may be. Best thing would be just appoint support staff, an admin manager & give "FULL AUTHORITY WITH FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF RESULTS" to the captain. Mr Erapalli Prasanaa has also suggested this.
Though what Ganguly is saying is correct but listening from his mouth is somewhat strange. Everybody knows his relations with Greg Chappel. Was he not a coach? He and Sachin made every effort to ouster Greg. What I am saying is Kohli is following Ganguly's footsteps. Its his legacy. The only difference is this time the coach was an Indian.
Ganguly's logic just doesn't make sense.Suppose Kohli does not play well and is replaced as Captain after 6 months,will the CAC again step in to ensure new Captain 'accepts'the Coach!I think real story is the present Captain will be asked to select the Coach.BCCI went thru the sham of getting prospective candidates interviewed by CAC.They are fooling the Indian public!
The decision to name Indian Cricket team coach is delayed due to public opinion against Ravi Shastri who was fully confident to be a coach due to his influence and connection with the top officials of the board. This man was an average cricketer. A below average ordinary bowler, most boring batsman and and a lousy fielder. How this man can inspire or get respect from a current team players full of talent ? and what this man can teach them ? This man has no main source of income from any other sources other than Indian cricket board and he is getting regularly position, perks ,power due to his chamchagiri. Why other more talented cricketers more talented and experienced than him are getting cold shoulders from the board ? It is better in the interest of Indian cricket that this man be shown his right place.
