A proven performer and a legend like Kumble should have been retained as the team coach.BCCI and CAC made a blunder by not taking a firm stand instead of yielding to Virat was throwing tantrums in England.Virat cannot control the wily Dhoni & Yuvraj.India's performance in recent one day tournament and even in West Indies proves the point.A strong and ruthless coach is required to take Indian cricket to great heights.

WHY SO MUCH FUSS ABOUT WHO BECOMES INDIA CRICKET TEAM COACH.UNLIKE FOOTBALL, WHERE A COACH MAKES DECISIONS, IN CRICKET IT IS THE CAPTAIN, WHO MAKES ALL THE MOVES ON THE FIELD. COACH IS JUST LIKE A GUIDE. IN FACT, THE WORD COACH IS MISNOMER AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. HE IS MORE LIKE AN ADVISER/.GUIDE TO THE PLAYERS.
All most all retired cricketers are commenting and giving suggestions for the new Indian Coach. What is the use of all thus when Kohli is the supremo and the coach should be his choice !!
Lobbying for Mumbaikar has begun with another mumbaikar backing Ravi. It is a dirty politics by all mumbaikars and of all the people Sachin Started it.It is a shame to our Indian cricket lovers and an insult to Kumble
Why make him the coach when he is as casual about the job that he gives interview from abroad. If it is not that serious to him he should not be allowed. Secondly, make his contract for next 6 months, if indian team does not perform sack him. No need to get people for 2 years or so.
