Although by and large the low key and inexperienced selection panel has done reasonably good job but the chief selector is not very convincing on Yuvi's selection and is looking defensive in his justification.How Ranji performances can be main criteria for selection into shorter formats ? Yuvi has serious fitness problems and his recall,certainly is a step backwards in that an already unsettled looking m.o will further make it difficult for youngsters to cement their place.That is why doubts come in the mind that with such low profile selectors some established BCCI big-wigs could influence and do back seat driving.Anyway with both experienced Rohit and Raina not in the squad may be Virat too might have played a hand in Yuvi's selection and we wish him all the best.But the earlier the m.o gets a settled look better for the Ch trophy chances.
Yuvraj , Raina & MSD himself are must in middle order . All these are proven performers under pressure situations & true match winners . No batsman in the world can perform 100 percent of the times , but success rate of these players is very good .
In fact Raina was must in ODI's as well , he's an all rounder & excellent fielder .
Excellent team selection , only thing we will surely miss Rohit Sharma in opening slot . Anyway , Shikhar Dhawan & Rahul are also good .

they should replace Yuvraj & Ashish Nehra sooner than later. give youngers a chance
How long the Selection Committee keep on selecting Yuvraj Singh? He performs only in match & removed in other series. First he has been selected in T20 Wcup considering the fact that he is not good for ODI. Hence he is not even selected against NZ. Suresh Raina was selected against NZ & later removed due to injury. Umesh Yadav is too expensive in 1 day Internationals, Rahane is struggling to score in ODI. There are so many performers still waiting in the line like Shardul Thakur, Gurkreet Singh Mann,& in fact Abhishek Nayar is performing consistently as an alrounder. Any how team is selected. If these players failed to perform they should be dropped & not to be selected for CT.
Selecting Mr.Yuvaraj Singh and Mr.Nehra is not a bright idea. Scoring heavily in Ranji matches is not a qualifying mark and keeping in mind the Champions Trophy and world cup they could have selected youngsters who can represent India for a long time like Yuvaraj and Nehra.
