End of an impeccable & enigmatic journey without any fuss. An outstanding & successful cricketer as a captain, leader more importantly as a person. Never been into any controversy, always mindful and foresightedness strategy build a winning team. His cool approach indeed a good learning for corporate leader.

VERY TIMELY DIGNIFIED CALL INDEED.

Dhoni lived life king-size proving himself as among the best captains India has produced going by win records !So to his credit has made the right decision in the right time to ensure the most dignified exit as captain.Given Virat's exceptional exploits as captain in the Test cricket the dressing room virtually has turned his making it untenable for Dhoni to operate as part captain especially at a time when his captaincy in shorter formats has not attained those heights of his early days and have come for serious scrutiny.Somehow his 'gambling' instincts seem to be waning with the famed last ball finishes of initial IPL days drying up altogether! In the last IPL he ended up almost at the bottom! Given this background it will ensure more sense of order that is essential if India cricket is to attain the heights Virat is talking about and Virat will have better chance to mold the team with that objective. Besides, Dhoni's decision will also help him prolong his career as cricketer and WK which he is still the best. Thus it will allow time for another youngster to to be groomed as WK to take his place in due course of time. But it is difficult to predict his longevity at this juncture that is if he could go up to next WC in 2019.We wish him all the best.

Dear Sisters and Brethren,

Dhoni is as great as our cricketeering ancestry of Indian Cricket.
Cricket is a sport.
Sports and Sportsmanship is about Individual Talent and Achievement.
It is not about flattery, sycophancy and politicians.
It is based on individual talent.
If politicians are as talented as our sportsmen

MSD has quit at the right time and put Virat under pressure due to some recent practices followed in BCCI
1. All key players like Ashwin/Jadeja/Shami are being rested for ODIs saying that they need rest to play upcoming tests ( May be as advised by Virat) Few medicore players are given as replacement for NZ series and the team lost two matches. Entire media wrote that MSD had overlived. Finally he managed to win the series somehow.
2. After each test match win, all media houses conducted polls for making Virat as captain for all formats
3. Virat got desired wickets/pitches in all test matche venues. But MSD could not get after Srini's exit. Mumbai/Kolkatta prepared their own flat /seaming wickets to ensure that MSD is lost in those matches. ( SA made 425 in Mumbai ODI last year and even Ravi Shastri fought with the curator)
4. Virat playing with carefree attitude in ODIs and failed in crucial times (WC 2015 SF) and now it will be a different story
5. Do not be surprised if rested test bowlers are recalled tomorrow for ODIs where Virat is likely to be made captain for all formats

We really do not know what you are trying to say. But bring some clarity to your thoughts and post your so called comments. Dhoni is by all means the best captain, wicketkeeper and a batsman (finisher). Winning World Cup, T20 and Champions Trophy is an achievement. Dhoni, we will miss you badly.
