The Aussie team in both innings made over 250 runs, nothing to blame the Pitch. Yes it was difficult to bat on, but not that the Indian team could just cross the 100 mark in both the innings with great difficulty. India failed the TEST.
Yes it should be banned for Test and ODI also. The pune cricket management quality is totally par poor.It is not recognized as per international standard concerns.Just ban it..!
When Aussie\'s could score runs in both the innings, the Indians have totally failed apply themselves to adapt to the pitch conditions. Being the first test at this venue, it does not augur well to the Maharastra Cricket association to get a bad name from ICC on poor pitch.

Unless Home team is docked rating points for ranking, these punishments will not help in any country. In the recent past, only 2 countries have been reprimanded for poor pitches- India - twice, and Sri Lanks-once
