Batting against Good Bowling Attack
by vr hari on Mar 01, 2017 12:42 PM

Has always been a problem. Barring a couple of batsmen, majority of them are not good enough. So we have a long tail, starting from 2 down. Against poor bowling attack on our tracks, these guys make hay..

Pune loss Insignificant
by Mike Teflon on Feb 28, 2017 10:03 PM

It was an up and down pitch and the bounce was inconsistent. Toss turned out to be a huge advantage. Steve Smith dropped 4 times in the second essay.

In the hindsight, O Keefe did all the damage. With due respect to Aussies, NOT much could be read or a judgement be passed on India's ability.. The OZ know it..

The real series begins in Benguluru.. Looking forward to it..

lesson to Kohli
by ananda char on Feb 27, 2017 05:51 PM

I am very happy for losing the first test . Kohli will be in realistic mode otherwise every body was praising the team saying they (India) will lead Australia by 4:0, I expect it will be 3:1 in Australian favor

World no. 1 team can be beaten, see in 1983 world cup world champion team West Indies lost to India .But there after in 1984 Same West Indies beat India 5.0 in India. In 2001 World no. 1 team Australia beat India first test ,but they lost next two test lost series also.So in game anything can happen ,we just need patience to next matches ,India may win series 3-1.

Win & Loss
by Imran Pasha on Feb 27, 2017 12:11 PM

Cricket is a game where we have to see both win & loss but this match is untolerable as we are playing in home there should have been atleast some fight with the opponents Smith has scored an full Indian inning, hopeless team with a hopeless leader, I agree a lot with Mr.Neeraj.

Aussies are not Bangladesh

Team India is without a leader
Kohli is not at all fit to lead the side.
Kohli could not win any IPL inspite of having Gayle & AB....
Board must find a better leader for Team..
Kohli is not matured...He is like RaGa

In India everything is hype. Ashiwn , Jadeja are not world class bowlers. Where is that guy who always say Kohli he Holi. Call him and now what is says.

Over the moon syndrome
by Devaraj PT on Feb 27, 2017 09:43 AM  | Hide replies

I am surprised how the seniors like Sachin, Shewag, Ganguly can say this Indian team will win everything. Media going that way is their business, but experienced cricketers doing the same is unacceptable. This air has made our team headstrong. Winning against NewZealand, England, Bangladesh that too in India is nothing. They are facing a strong team for the first time. This would be their real test. Judge them after this series and more importantly after an away series, where our Ashwins,Jagedas have to prove a lot.

BCCI has come under new management and we expect revolutionary changes and reforms by the new team.First and foremost I would strongly recommend the new team to drastically cut down the players' salary, match fee & other allowances and reward suitably to good performers on match to match basis.Further I also wish them to enhance payments to players at junior level thereby enabling them financial backing to keep themselves fit & enhance their skills..Media must also avoid excess hype after few wins over weak teams.
