The Indian team lost this test to a dedicated Australian team. However all is not lost. If one were to look at the dismissals of the Indian team, some of the bowling especially by the Australian quicks was unplayable. Starc was far superior to our Indian bowlers. We dropped Smith on 23,29,and 59 and he went on to capitalise on our largesse. Whereas, Handscomb was really "Hands-safe" when he picked out several incredible catches just inches off the ground. In 1956,Lock and Laker, the English spin twins decimated the Australian team. Our role at this juncture is to encourage Kohli and the rest of the team; remember that we had beaten the Brits just a few weeks ago. Cheer up lads, you are still OUR team.

Correct. Whether we win or lose it is our team. No denying the fact. :-)

Correct. We should have allowed Aus to score 400 in both innings. Why to restrict them under 300? By adding more batsmen we would of course have crossed the 125 mark. :-)
as well as the Indian team captain will spend the next few days wearing out their brains trying to decide what kind of a pitch at Bangalore they ought to wish for (much less ask for) !!
A rank turner would surely be out of question now, considering what happened over the last two days !!
A more sporting pitch (where pace bowlers also can expect to get a little help) would be too intimidating a prospect, considering how the Australians have two fast bowlers who are immensely superior to the pace pretenders the Indians have.
The safest option might be to have a featherbed, where the Indian batsmen can hope to last the distance and eke out a draw !
1.arrogant and overconfident captain 2.poor defensive batsman rahul and rahane 3. poor selection yadav and ishant 4.lot of catches dropped at crucial juncture and made to pay heavily 5. poor use of DRS if these are addressed we have hope for a draw!

And overall, the Indian team is not really half as good as the Indian media makes it out to be !

I agree to No 1,3, 4, 5. Ishant sharma, Rahane, vijay should be dropped immediately. There is no need for Jayant yadav.
And Saha`s and jadeja`s batting also needs some contribution.
Saha is only doing wicket-keeping he is scoring no runs, same about jadeja he also needs to contribute with bat.
