The Media loves controversies...even where there are none. Saha was not dropped (even though there were questions about his keeping the last time he played for India.) He was injured and Parthiv replaced him. When Saha was fit again, he came back into the team. He has a workman like attitude without being spectacular and right now, nobody will frown at his being a part of the team.
