Freak or over rated, Bradman is remembered almost now and then. No body remembers Hogg ..... . There should be some sense who should talk about whom !! but this happens in every field. Nasiruddin shah talks about Rajesh Khanna ... (Bradman and Khanna are not alive to defend themselves) ... everything leaves a bad taste for sure.

hows trading going? werent you regular at rediff global discussion forum? your username sounds familiar.
didnt have physiotherapists, high motivating salaries, sponsors, this many protection gears, bats as thick as today, pitches this batsman friendly, no third umpire to save bastman, no drs, no rule on bouncers, no dusra spins, no slow motion cameras to study bowlers, no free hit, no one day, no t20 hitting games, no proper technical guidance.. more like self learning.
tendulkars style of batting in many driving shots has been matched as 99 percentage same as bradman.. so if bradman was playing today, he was under the name of tendulkar. and he was much better than most of the aussies combined.
There are two school of thought regarding Sir Don. One says he wouldn't been much successful in the present era. They say that Television and technology won't allowed him to be like that. They also say that he never visited and played in the Sub- Continent pitches.Had he played in the slow pitches his average won.t been the same. They also says that he has not also visited and played against the West Indies. For Sir Don it can be said that during his time the pitches was not covered, their were no helmet, there were no arm guard, the Bats were not heavy, there was no restriction on bouncers and beamers.Lastly, I can conclude that the bowling is not that great nowadays and one should not compare two eras. That he was great his average will always prove that. Another thing is that if you score 200 runs in a match it will not be written in the record- book that you have given three sure chances.
