Rightly said by the author that a deserving test player be adequately compensated financially-but how,let me tell you all.For contracted players,A category be given to only test specialists.Match fee for a test player must be five times that of ODI/T20.I am sure this will encourage youngesters to take on Test route.

is test match dying

Just one loss to the Australia, has brought back this question on the minds of the administrators of the biggest game in India. Yes, Test is the real game , not the shorter version, they are promoted for Commercial purposes only. The test players have forgotten to play a long and patient innings. the shorter version has spoiled the real game of cricket. The only way this can be promoted was well written and all points are apt. Those players who do not do well in Test Cricket should not be given the "CAP'.
Different players needed especially for "TestMatches".Those with Skill, Dexterity, Patience, will and determination to play a long innings. Its akin to every one works on computers but very few know the art of typing skills. which is an essential part of using computers.
