The phrase is used incorrectly here. When "Kohli has Dhoni's Back", the meaning is Dhoni is being taken care by Kohli, not the other way.
But I know that's not what you have in mind, dirty mind aren't you?

dhoni did not score 50 in 75 deliveries ....he scored 56 in 36 deliveries...:)

EVEN HARBAJHAN, IRFAN PATHAN & YUSUF PATHAN,R.P.SINGH ALSO GOOD PLAYERS & THEY ARE ALL PLAYING EVEN NOW. SEHWAG & ZAHEER ALSO GOOD PLAYERS BUT THEY RETIRED GENTLY.
IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE CHANCE TO YOUNGSTERS. REMEMBER DEAR, BECAUSE THESE 2 PLAYERS(YUVRAJ & DHONI) INDIA HAVE LOST 2T20 WORLDCUP. NOW THEY ARE PLAYING ONLY TO REMAIN IN THE SIDE.
MIND IT. DHONI IS NOT A GOOD FINISHER EVEN NOW. THOSE DAYS ARE GONE. YESTERDAY MATCH WE WON BECAUSE OF RAINA WHO HAS SHOWN THE PLATFORM.
IF DHONI & YUVRAJ FAILED THEN THEY WILL NOT BE SELECTED.

buddy its better you don't watch cricket first look at the analysis then comment on some issue dhoni score 56(36)ball even world best batsmen some time can't save the match like sachin,vivan richard,brain lara,ricky pointing,etc etc there are lots of top batsman look all the analysis then comment fool your nothing but a your country burden. you idiot don't watch cricket better to watch kabaddi that will suits for you
wonder how many people have noticed that since bumrah and pandya entered the indian team in t20s and odi our winning percentage has gone up considerably?
pandya has played in 7 odis where we won 4 and lost 3 and has played 19 T20s where we won 15 and lost 4...pandya has thus played 26 matches for india 19 wins7 losses
and bumrah has so far played in 11 odis india winning 9 of them and losing 2 while in the 24 T20s india has won 17 and lost 6...bumrah has so far played 35 matches for india 26 wins 8 losses

btw out of those 35 matches kohli has captained 6 with 4 wins and 2 losses...dhoni has captained the other 29 22 wins and 6 lost...

Virat comes at the top of the order and Dhoni at 6. Chances of scoring are more for Kohli than Virat. Do you expect a captain to only score or win matches?
In fact , no one has guts to drop even non performing MSD , not even selection committee , LIKE ONCE SACHIN WAS DURING HIS PLAYING DAYS - -
MSD can play as long as he desires & as long as he himself doesn't calls it a day .
Such is the work of these two great men , SACHIN & MSD towards Indian cricket .
To drop MSD , selection committee will have call a meeting & very humbly ask MSD - -
" Your Majesty - - DO YOU HAVE ANY RETIREMENT PLANS IN NEAR FUTURE ??
As once they did for SACHIN .
And moreover , a batsman is never judged on the basis of how many 50's or 100's he scored . Even 30-40 runs scored when they are at most needed & contributed to teams victory is worth more than a double hundred .
NO NEED TO SCORE 50 OR 100 - -
And remember , NO BATSMAN CAN SCORE IN 100 PERCENT OF INNINGS HE PLAYS .

Problem is not with the performance & winning the match.
Problem is performing only in 1 match & remaining in the team for next series without performing.
Ultimately at the crucial matches like WC or CT these seniors disappoint every body.
Even I am a fan of Dhoni when he was winning the matches & world cup for India. But I am Indian & fan of Indian Team & anybody not performing for India should be kicked out Whether it is Dhoni, or Tendulkar or Virat Kohli, Ganguly or the worst useless Azharuddin who is the most Unsuccessful captain in World Cup losing 3world cup contiuously (1992,1995,1999).
Remember after winning the T20 WCup in 2007 Dhoni was captaining in remaining T20 Wcup also till 2016, but lost all the remaining WCup. This shows clearly that 2007 Wcup was fluke.
Now let's stop this topic & India won the series in all three formats. Let enjoy this victory.
I do have lot of records with me, but it is unnecessary to argue with fools & idiots like you.

My Dear Friend, Every body given some more chance even after failure. Ganguly after losing in the finals is not a failure. Since chance been given to him. When started losing continuously then he has been removed from Captaincy.
Rahul Dravid has not captained for a long period like Ganguly. But still he has been removed after losing the World Cup.
Yes of course Dhoni won all the cups agree. But these are achievements long time back. After won the CT in 2013 he continuously lost against the series in England, SA, NZ, tRI SERIES 2015 IN Australia, Test Series in Australia, World cup 2015 in Australia, Bangladesh Series in Bangladesh, Lost the series against SA in India, both ODI & t20, against ODI series in Australia 2016, then he got a fruitful chance in T20 WCUP after winning the series against Australia, SL, & Asia Cup but lost the important T20 World Cup. Australians always weak side in T20. Don't consider the Zimbabwe tour. It is weaker than India A team. Even they lost to Ajinka Rahane's Team in 2015.
Not only that my dear. He could not able to finish the game in the final over even against Zimbabwe. Even lost to WI recently because of the great great Dhoni who lost his wicket at the last ball. So according to recent performance only he has to be removed. Dont keep on bringing the old story.
Even in 2010 T20 world Dhoni & Yusuf Pathan could not score even 9 runs in the last over against England. Even Yusuf Pathan tried by hitting 2 sixes.

SA have not won any world cup..that does not mean it is a weak or useless team...australia have won some world cups not ALL of the them...that does not mean that whatever world cups australia won should be called fluke...

It is true. It is not possible to win all the matches. Australians,SA also not win all the tournaments.
But remember my dear, When Australian, SA, lost the World cup championship, immediately they will change the captains, but in case of Dhoni even after losing T20 World cup continuously he was the captain just because he won the World Cup. He never won the series in NZ, AUSTRALIA, ENGLAND, SA. That he lost the series like 0-4 or 1-3 like that. He also lost all the tri series held in Australia, SA etc.

Australians may not have won all the World Cups. Agreed. But they have won maximum World Cups. 5 times. 1987,1999,2003,2007,2015. Not only that there were Runners up in 1995, & reached SF in 2011. Only in 1992 they lost in preliminaries. Hence you cannot call it as a fluke. Because they have won World Cup in all the countries.
As far as SA is concerned they lost mostly in SF, because of their bad luck & some times they make small errors.
In 1992 they lost to England because of Rain. In 1995, they won all the matches but only one match which was QF. Again in 1999 they lost in SF because of lady luck for Steve Waugh. Silly mistake catch dropped by Gibbs. Still the captains being changed after the particular tournament.
But in case of Dhoni. He won T20 World cup in 2007. India has lost in the knock out stage itself in the remaining T20 WCup held in 2008,2010,2012.In all the 3 occasions poor captaincy. Only in 2014 & 2016 India reached Finals & SF respectively.
Still Dhoni remained as a captain because he won WC 2011, & we won since it was held in India. Otherwise India would have lost 2011 WC also, if it would have been held in other than sub continent.

you are wrong again ...sa aus did not change captains after wc losses...hansie cronje was captain for so many world cups ...he lost he was no dropped...abd was captain for wc...sa lost ...he was not dropped from captaincy...
it is silly to change captains just because you lose a series or a wc tournament...nobody does that...maybe pakistan do such silly things but not other country...
