When we talk about Tests , India has played for the past 4 years most of the matches at home, few in Srilanka and 1 or 2 in Bangladesh and West Indies. The win % is 99% hence they are in No1 spot in Test cricket. But they are not good in South Africa, England, Australia and Newzeland. The current team have good spinners but not very experienced pacers that we need in these countries. So it is difficult to win a Test series in Southafrica, However they can win ODI and T20 there.
South Africa will Steamroll This Indian Team Black & Blue into Submission and Indian Cricket will go back 2 Decades into The 1990's to ICC Rankings as Number 6 & 7 after they Finish Touring South Africa, England, Australia & New Zealand respectively.
Later they will come back Home, Play in IPL and make Billions and enjoy.

Get your facts corrected. Forget whitewash, India has never won Test Series in Australia or South Africa. Under Dhoni, India was beaten by margin of 4-0 by both Australia and England when India toured last time. On the contrary, Australia and South Africa have won test series against India in India more than once!
For a change India can win only and only if, our batsmen and slow bowlers adopt to conditions. Our pacemen will do their job but have a great doubt about our batsmen what with almost no time for adaptation to conditions over their from the flatbeds of Asia. And if that is the case, then, by the time our batsmen come to life, the test series will be over and then may be they will do well in Shorter versions ie. in their Shorts (ODIs) & jockis (T20s)

iN BROADER PERSPECTIVE, hereon starts their real test to stamp their achievements over the past two years.....in India. They WILL HAVE to prove that, whatever records the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan & Virat Kohli and R'Ashwin for that matter, have made is not because all these 'great'innings were on home grounds/conditions. It will also be a test of times for Bumrah.
There is no doubt that India is winning the series with South Africa based on the current team's form, talent and attitude. Indian players are now well adapted to foreign grounds too and where there is a will and attitude there is a win which is what India's USP. South Africa on the other hand is a depleted side with none of its major and star players in good form. Moreover, they do not have any great bowling attack too. Even Dale Styne has lost his charm and is not looking dangerous at all. And then we have Virat Kohli, one man team who can single handedly win any game. Another suspense is of our bowlers, seamers and spinners. Though they might look ordinary, they are master in taking wickets. Just hope it doesn't become a one sided game like all the past 2 years game in India. Though India has to win, there would not be any thrill if its easy for them. Hope South Africa has the attitude of fighting it back. Playing against every nation, how we all miss their great stalwarts like Jack Kallis, Klusner, Pollock etc.
Re: Ofcourse, why not 100% India is winning

Agreed. Even though depleted, SA is still a force to reckon with in their own country. Batting on South African wickets is vastly different from batting on placid wickets in India. I do not think either Ashwin or Jadeja will be much successful in SA. Much will depend upon our pace bowlers. 2018 will be a great challange for Indian Cricket team as it will be playing against SA, ENG & AUS in their respective countries!
with a lot of young fast bowlers and the experienced Ishant to guide them,India has a good chance provided the batsmen are able to stand up against the South Afican bowlers.
