Pollution

Well, I am not satisfied with Dhawan's answer. This not a war, not a do or die thing that you must continue, even if you are sick. It is after all sports. these are professional players alright but professionals or amateurs, health comes first because health is wealth, if your healthy then only you can play and earn.
One must sympathize with Srilankan players but I am against the way they handled the situation, it was high drama, they created this ruckus just to break the rhythm of India batsmen and deny Kohli the much deserved triple century. Instead of playing such drama, they should have complained the match referee in the morning itself, why play almost the whole day and then create drama? They have the right to walk out of the match stating health hazards but it is not gamesmanship if you deliberately deny your opposition the chance to win the game or gain upper hand in the game.

AIR QUALITY IN DELHI
by Thomas Philip on Dec 05, 2017 08:42 PM

Polluted air and cold conditions can be quite taxing for those not used to such conditions.Cricketers play in all sorts of weather and they are supposed to get acclimatised to all such conditions. But polluted air in our capital city is a shame on us and the cricket board shouldnot have scheduled a test in Delhi in December. Our own cricketers should not paly in such unheathy conditions.
