Stooping too low
by Manohar Rao on Dec 03, 2017 09:46 PM  | Hide replies

Yes Sri Lanka has stooped too low to break the rhythm of Indian batsmen and in particular deny Kohli his first triple. Sri Lankan's both attack and defense are pathetic and not even club class. In the first match too they denied India a deserving win by incorporating delay tactics. In this match they are complaining about pollution. Agreed, the pollution is very high, did they not know this before visiting the venue? Now do not say that they were unaware, nowadays weather conditions are taken into account long before going into the match, even the strategies are formulated keeping in mind the weather conditions.
Sri Lankans are just cry babies and unsporting to deny Kohli his first triple by breaking his concentration and then forcing India to declare early to ensure that this time around they do not lose by an innings.
Weather conditions are same for both the players and if their fitness level is so low it is not the problem of Indian team.
Somebody mentioned Indian players are accustomed to pollution, if so why so many people in India are dying of pollution.By giving such statements you are insulting India and Indians. Nobody is untouched by the pollution, the spectators, the organizers, the players everybody are effected but that does not make a case for Sri Lankans to stop the play in the middle. If they were sportive enough they could have continued the and put their views or protests at the end of the game. Why they came out for batting, they should have remained inside?

India can win as many games with minnows like bangladesh, west indies and present Sri lanka and kohli will definitley score 300 as well as 400 on indian pitches with them. You have seen what New zealand have done to them in india though they win the series by special tailor made pitches for them

Oh ! what a player and human being Virat is
by Jayaprakash Balan on Dec 03, 2017 09:22 PM

One just can't be wondering in awe and telling Oh, what a player and human being Virat Kohli is, or is he a machine, because be whatever circumstances when all the players get troubled too, this guy has no qualms or effects of anything be in pollution, be in bad weather or be it anything, when he is on the field and especially to bat, he just want to crush the opposite team especially the bowlers. Not even Don Bradman would have had this attitude. No wonder Virat is flying sky high now and he is sure to fly high another 5 years breaking all possible records and may be all bowlers in the world going mad to find out a way to stop this run machine and get him out. Australia or any other country would have had only one great legend, but here we Indians are having two two, one Sachin and now this guy Virat. Its shame of Sri Lankan players that they are not learning from Virat seeing him bat or atleast take a tip or two from him. Salutations to you Sir Virat !!! As long as Virat is there, no question of India losing for another 5 years any match or any big tournament. South African's sleep would already have got disturbed thinking that this is guy who is going to come to our land next to thrash us.

IPL is not played in December. Pollution is Delhi is worst in winter. Also, in IPL fielders are on the field for an hour and a half as opposed to test. SL Players have been on the ground for nearly 2 days. Apples and Oranges...

You are right.sri Lanka is a very clean place.they are not used to such high levels of pollution, they are foreigners.virat is born, brought up,bread and buttered in polluted delhi.we all are used to accepting low levels of sanitation, dirt ,loud noise ...go abroad and you will realise what clean air, and quietness is.lets be fair and accept their opinion as well.BXNk7

sl cricketers do not have problem in revisiting the land_of_terrorism inspite of being attacked in the past; but they have a problem with the pollution level here.
