msd RETIREMENT.

We Indian should respect his majority and he will leave the game in appropriate time. He knows his responsibility to cricket as well as nation. No need to show him pink letter or handshake. I feel he has still capacity to play the ODI/T20.

why stars such Kapil, Sachin and Dohni enjoy special status in regard to their careers. The BCCI has no power to remove aging and under performing players. They should be treated like any other player

Why clarify that a person is dropped as it is rotation. Obviously members of cricket team should be selected based on performance and potential.

There is still time till world cup. Have a core team ready and build around them. If you select some young people they can get training/practice in match till then. Make some use of the new coach.

Carrying older players into world cup might prove liability. So take that decision and not give false hopes to some as we must not forget the person being played with is a legend and has done a lot for country. We should have that good intention in our actions.

What a way to start your ODI series against SriLanka. Yes, if you have reservations about a player do some thing about it and drop him from the team. But please do not select him for a tour match and then go about mouthing bullshit and rubbish undermining his confidence. When you select a team it is also the selectors business to see that all playrs of the selected team approach the games with full confidence, not with doubts as to

I AM NOT AT ALL A FAN OF ANY PARTICULAR PLAYER , but MSD is still the best.

No doubt age is catching up with him & time spares no one . One day everyone has to retire .

But MSD , I think is not that kind of a person who needs to be dropped OR asked to retire .
He himself will surprise entire cricketing faternity by his sudden retirement as he did in Tests & captainship .
He will never be a burden on the team .

He is still the best WC batsman & fit
& can easily continue till WC 2019 .

Do we have anybody to replace him ??

Answer is BIG NO - - THEN ??

These Pant , Samson , Ojha , Karthik , Saha are nothing before MSD .

I 2 am a fan of Dhoni but now age is not in his side and we can see his keeping has come down because of reflexes. So we should not be emotional and give chance to younger keepers for better result in world cup.He is a legend but he is not the best at this moment in India.

Still comparing with upcoming young wicket keepers still Dhoni performs better - maintains still fit, glove work is far better than any person whom mentioned and running between wicket, still best than any other Indian batsmen. During the last 15/20 ODI matches he did not get opportunities as top order performed well. His caliber should be compared with the alternate waiting wicket keepers only and not with batsmen. Still Dhoni is there in the team to bat itself boost the morale of top order batsmen as well as the tailenders to score more along with him. Further the captain & the team get expert advises in the field.Earlier we have witnessed many times, had Sachin as opening bat failed, the team collapsed. It is mere psychological boost. Having Dhoni removed, Pant/Samson be chosen, they do better at opening slot and is it possible now. If Karthi is given, he could do better at 3/4 th spot - is it possible now.
Dhoni could be allowed to play as long as he performs better and should not be let down uncermoniously.

Should retire with dignity. He has given enough to Indian ODI cricket. Now retire gracefully and lets groom youngsters for WC 2019
