In the first 2/3 matches both Kohli and DeVilliers could not play hence RCB lost the momentum. In the remaining 4 matches they should try to play well to get back some reputation.

Royal collapse of batting. it seems that they have deliberated the loss of wickets than loosing them to bowlers. It was a surprise to see how the batsman did not feel anything after the collapse for 49 runs. attitude matters. its all how the captain leads. Kohli had expressed displeasure after getting out on the first ball and surely the team was really disappointed the way he reacted. I think he is too immature to lead Indian cricket team

why rcb batting failed???
by shyam amladi on Apr 29, 2017 10:48 PM

the know-alls of indian cricket and may i say the world cricket say that test cricketers do not need coaches to teach them anything. what these people do not realize is that when you start failing, you need to go back to the "drawing board" to find reasons for your failures and rectify them. now, if there are tiny technical niggles (changes) in your batting, bowling, fielding, or wicket-keeping, who will correct them and polish the "rough edges" developed because of constant playing and turn the players into "polished diamonds" they were earlier??? it is here that a coach with knowledge of correct technique and the art of imparting it to the players, helps. not coaches who are ex-test players who have no experience of coaching and finding these niggles in the first place and then, to rectify them.
another thing is that the coach needs thorough knowledge of human anatomy because when he makes changes in the player, the player must be able to do it easily; and everyone is not flexible (in common parlance - a natural cricketer).
