I think BCCI is right about getting the share in proportion to generation of revenue. However it is also duty of India to assist fledging cricketing nations. So BCCI must back up its offer of compensating smaller countries with concrete plans for compensating the lesser upcoming countries like Afghanistan,Ireland etc. out of their revenues. Why should India worry about revenues compensation of existing biggies like say Pakistan,SL, Zimbabway etc. Alternately India at most can forego a flat 10% revenue loss in the 8 yr cycle. In such a case India can forego about $60m and accept around $520m.To be more generous this could be rounded off to say $500m foregoing another $20m.However asking India to suffer any further loss I don't think is fair on part of ICC.
Mr. Manohar proposal must be out rightly rejected, he putting personal gain against BCCI interest, he must be shown the way, BCCI must not loose the strong strangle hold in world cricket, they rendering noble service to Indian Cricket, they recently honoured respectful senior Indian women team members, somebody did remember their contribution to Indian cricket, this is one example of good governance after taking over by COA.
Liked the way BCCI dealing with ICC, especially with Shashank Manohar. BCCI need to maintain it's stand show Shashank Manohar that he is merely rubber stamp and can't take his position to ride on BCCI. Wicked Shashank Manohar has thrown BCCI's interest to score good will among member nation and he should be shown middle figure for his ill intention.
