it makes sense to remove dhoni from captaincy actually...since he would be playing for csk from next year a new captain should get experience with insights from dhoni and bond with the team members...otherwise next year pune will have to appoint a new captain and he will have to start anew without dhoni in the team...

Dhoni Should be respected..

Respect should be given based on performance not based on name. Time has gone (2000-2010) when Indian team carried some of the famed players based on there names and failed at 2003 and 2007 WCup. At present there is cut throat competetion and young players are emerging at IPL and they should be considered if they perform well and players like Virat\Ashwin should be thorown out if they does not perform in couple of matches or a series then only Indian cricket will be at peak.

why he need respect, he knows that he is not performing well, so he should be kick out of the team no mercy, how he did to other players when they are not performing well (as per dhoni) he kick out some good players from the team like sehwag, tendulkar, laxman,Dravid so many legends
so he deserve the same treatment

Dhoni Should be respected

Please remember for any businessman the aim and motive is very simple. Make profit or vanish from the scene. Sentiments have no place that is for the fools to follow. Like in Horse racing the owner will care for the horse as long as he wins races and helps owner to make monry. The day he stops delivering he would be eliminated by fair or unfair means. A simple and practical thinking of a business man

Well he did the same to his seniors even when they were doin well in their craft , in guise of being poor fielders . why should he be an exception when he is not performing at any any level.

MSD handled Ganguly exactly same way
by PRASUNE JOHN on Apr 20, 2017 07:24 PM

When Ganguly was out of form and although he was most successful captain for India till then etc, he was out of form/not performing well enough/blocking youngsters. MSD wanted him plus other slow movers out of the team as he had mentioned in his movie.
Now MSD is out of form/not performing well enough/blocking youngsters. There are so many wicket keeper batsmen performing better than him in this IPL and couple of part time wicket keepers who should be permanent as batsmen in T20 team, Kedhar Jhadav and Lokesh Rahul.
In my opinion going by current form and performance there is no room for MSD (who brought up his first and only T20 half century only recently) in India's T20 squad.

He should gracefully retire from T20 by end of this IPL, else he should be ready to face Ganguly's fate which he orchestrated (and that was a right decision indeed) and no one should cry that he should have been given more respect.
