no. of 50s is not the only criterion to decide whether a player is good or not in T20...he was a better test batsman and odi batsman than t20 bastman. so what?
you can count 50s in tests and odis as a criterion to see whether a player is good or not...in T20s because of less no. of overs number of 30 plus scores is a better criterion. and his batting position is also a factor.
out of the 72 t20s he played india won in 44 and in those matches he scored with a strike rate of 142. thats good enough.

It is only recently that Dhoni is coming up the order. Otherwise he has always been coming in the slog overs. There should be a different way to measure the top order, a separate way to measure the middle order and yet another way to measure those who get to come in to bat after the 10th over in a T20.

Do not forget, he doing well behind wickets & he has proved earlier that is a good finisher, need to give some time. Most successful Captain of India ever.
