how Kohli would have dealt with the bowling of men like Michael Holding, Malcolm Marshall, Andy Roberts, Dennis Lillee and the like if ever that was possible.
However, given how he, like many other batsmen today, have not exactly tackled the bowling of lesser men like Michael Johnson and Mitchell Starc with much ease, it can be safely said that Kohli would not have managed even a fraction of what Mohinder Amarnath did during his iconic series of innings in the West Indies in 1982 - 83 against the sustained fusillade of thunderbolts from Marshall and Co. !
