No harm in trying other cricketers they might prove to be more competent than him .He openly flaunts his arrogance and in my opinion he should be shown the door.

Shastri was captain of Indian team. He is a commentator for years. He is a columnist for years. Has been in the limelight for many years. People like Shastri, Gavaskar and few others have been ruling the roost continuously for many terms. They should gracefully make way for the others like Kapil Dev, Sreenath, etc., before they are shown the door

I agree completely. Shastri knows which side of the bread is buttered. Initially he was singing praises galore of Lalit Modi. And when bad times hit Modi, he hitched on to Srinivasan bandwagon. But Lodha panel and the apex court are exceeding their jurisdiction here. They should not be stipulating various conditions. BCCI should call independent minds like Bedi, Mohinder Amarnath to get unbiased view.Although Shastri and Gavaskar are great cricketing brains but they put self interest before all else unlike Bishen and Jimmy.
Ravi Shastri was and is a stooge of that most corrupt Srivinasan who had converted cricket game into business and indulged in all sorts of match fixing and other illegal activities. Ravi Shastri is part of that loot and that gang member. They are worse than Dawood Ibrahim
