Let me check Anurag Thakur who says smaller nations will suffer when Test will be divided in 2 Tiers. As if India is going to Host Bangladesh Zimbabwe for 3 Test Match and 5 Odi 2 T20i Series . Their quality is still poor in test so it would have been better if they would have been joined by Ireland Afghanistan and made to prove they are test team . They could have got regular fixtures. Well Anurag what about rest 105 member Countries of ICC will they not suffer Ireland Afghanistan Netherlands PNG don't they need shot at test cricket . And why are you not protesting against 10 Team world Cup in 2019 in that smaller teams will not suffer. BCCI is Hypocrite organisation and should be screwed by Lohdha commission report . We want cricket to expand with Two tier Test and 16 Team ODI league . BCCI like you just gifted Test Status to Pathetic Bangladesh in 2000 when Kenya was already 10times ahead of them in Cricket. Bangladesh still struggling at longer format. May be they have done few improvements in their One Day Cricket but Test they are still way behind to play top teams . And if they improve in Tier 2 Certainly they can play in Tier one by defeating bottom Tier one team in playoff and then play test against top teams . This Anurag has some hidden deals with Sri Lanka Bangladesh and Zimbabwe to oppose growth of cricket
BCCI must fight its own battles and such a letter from ICC is uncalled for. Most of the Lodha recommendations are reasonable and BCCI must follow them.
What is the compulsion of BCCI administered by mostly politicians like Thakor not to implement Lodha Committee report? It wants to be opaque in its functioning for what reasons?
