Test matches actually became more interesting as result percentage is increasing over draw percentage. But the disadvantage with test cricket is that it is too long. Nobody, nowadays will take 5 days leave and watch test cricket. One day cricket and T20 will survive but test cricket will die in this fast paced life.
the spectators to come flocking to the grounds? Why should they make the cricket boards richer? The cricket boards have never given any incentives to the crowd? The officials are enjoying and not a penny is spent for the crowd.
Just dangle a carrot with some incentive like a free raffle ticket for every Rupees 100 spent on tickets. The prizes could be anything like a economy range car, a scooty, a free pass for a premium stand etc. Here again the board will get sponsors for the big prizes like car / scooter etc.
