If India had won the 2nd ODI people might have kept quiet or this article might have been postponed.After all 6 runs was not a big margin. Also MSD played well..Cricket is a team effort..you cannot blame a single player for a loss..ofcourse age plays a roll in almost all sports..If MSD performs badly in, say 5 to 10 matches and India losses many matches under his captaincy then I think he himself will quit.. - SIVASANKAR M, Chennai

Stop writing off MS Dhoni as a has-been. The guy has performed brilliantly over the years and just because he loses a game the media writes his obituary. Dhoni should be allowed to perform without pressure. Why doesn't the media hold Rohit and the other top-order batsmen responsible for failing too? There is not much Dhoni can do coming in at No. 6 in precarious situations.

He is a great player, no doubt about it. But he is not that dhoni who used to win the matches at difficult positions. Still he cannot score 8 or 9 runs in the last over when needed. He is 35 years of age & playing continuously for 10 years, now it is time for him to give chance to promising youngsters. When he retired from Tests, Wriddhman Saha playing with responsibility & winning the matches for India. Like that if he retires from 1 day then there are so many players to replace. So let him retire.
