BCCI have brought in unto themselves.
by Pilot on Oct 24, 2016 06:24 AM

BCCI have brought to upon themselves. If they had governed themselves it would not have come to this. But one question: would supreme court have acted in a similar way in case of Indian Olympic Association or AIFF. As per IOC and FIFA charter interference by the Government would result in banning of respective association. It happened in case of Nigeria. ICC as a weak international organisation where member states are stronger than the Principal. But there is a case of judicial over reach. Arbitrary appointment of Sunil Gavaskar as temporary IPL commissioner is one example. And importance given to Saurav Ganguly is another example. Now is the time for Anurag Thakur to wipe the slate clean and come out with his own proposal. Buying time is not an option. Whatever one may say about BCCI, India is no.1 cricket nation and credit for this should also go to BCCI for creating necessary infrastructure. But BCCI should take action to change. India can become unbeatable. Anurag Thakur has good intentions.

The Supreme court
by piri on Oct 21, 2016 11:54 PM

has been ceaselessly rubbing Anurag Thakurs face in the mud for several weeks now. Everytime the SC paused in this action, Thakur attempted hard to get up and run away - only to see the SC grab him more roughly and drive his face deeper into the mud !

Oh, just where is my benefactor - komaaaaaali Modi, Thakur has apparently been wondering. Why has he remained so uncharacteristically silent about my plight ? After all, his shrill braying voice has been resonating all over about so many more frivolous matters ! Why has he not come to my aid ? I thought the komaaaaaali was so omnipotent that the SC and its stuxpid pronouncements would be brushed aside by him. I would not have made myself such a big a%s at the BCCI before the entire nation if I had an inkling that Modi would remain so silent about the SCs actions and not come to my rescue !

yes they are charging very high... Ravi Shastri is old cricketer and no one want his advise anymore and bcci pays 6 crores for one year service... they are playing money like anything... what Anurag thakur said was they are very serious about cricket that is why increased 7 lakhs to 15 lakhs for test players... is this correct or right announcement from an MP???
