Govt must take over
by KARAN on Oct 16, 2016 11:37 AM

Is it because both congress and bjp are involved in the management of bcci to share the booty that govt is not intervening in this mater. It is like many other things that after some level ,the games govts play are same whether it is bjp or congress.Looking slightly deeper, you see the BJP govt in Mumbai appears to be same unruly ,corrupt, insrnsitive as we see in congress ruled Karnataka.Indpite of huge protest by one and all siddharsmiahanges to exorinate george,i ndtalls as minister who is enacting the loot drama of 1800 crores in the name of some useless bridge. As long as corrupt politicians are not stripped of their loot and jailed sooner of a known corrupt deal there is no.hope for real progress. The only real villans of corruption are politicians .

May BCCI be set right
by K Ram on Oct 16, 2016 12:02 AM

Who are these middlemen and what's their real role in administration or in the development of the game? Who are they to decide what's to be paid to whom? They live their life King size, thanks to the players sweating it out in the middle and the gullible paying public! These people enjoy on the looted money from the game.

The game shall still survive without the Thakurs, Shashanks, Dalmias, Lalit Modis, Shirkes or Pawars. Only the players who sacrifice quality time with their families, who resist even the temptation to eat favourite food that could be detrimental to their fitness and the paying spectators make the game survive. It's time these irrelevant people are thrown out from their positions and the Government appoints suitably qualified personnel to manage the finances and ex-cricketers of repute to manage cricketing affairs of the BCCI. Let the cleansing operation go on!
