Supreme court must follow these steps immediately
by Sameer Shaikh on Oct 07, 2016 12:32 PM

India needs meritocracy to grow. Without merit India can never achieve its potential and rule of law

1) Fast track all court and criminal cases of MP in Parliament. Even current ruling BJP has criminals in cabinet like Uma Bharti, Advani involved in riot cases along with other parties like MIM and Shiv Sena who have hooligans. Prosecute them with special courts.

2) Give 10 years to end caste system. Enough of this. Make caste practice as crime in society. Supreme court must decide if India wants to continue with theocracy or secular democracy. Anyone following caste system must be given long punishment

3) Waqf board should be derecognize and harmony and community centers should be replaced connecting it to mainstream society and inter mingling community.

4) RSS/VHP activities should be made accountable. They should monitor activities in RSS shakha and madrassa syllabus.

Indias system cannot be cleaned by executives who have no political will to clean the system

Way to go Justice Thakur. As Markandey Katju said cricket and Bollywood is like opium for masses. In a country where hunger and poverty is norm of life, cricket should be last thing in mind than making hue and cry. Replace the whole BCCI with professional cricketers. Thakur we are with you. They were running cricket like corporate body

India remains a third world country and was stuck in poverty is because of these people. Clean the system

Defiant BCCI
by paresh lodaya on Oct 07, 2016 12:06 PM

The higher court of the land had given enough rope to the BCCI, now it is high time dismiss the board and appoint independent administrators to cleanse the cash rich cricket body, and contempt of court case slapped on them, and put them behind the bars in wasting the SC\'s valuable time. They appear to have shown themselves the law unto them, because of the power of money, unquestioned and unchallenged hitherto by anybody due to close association and directions of the corrupt politicians. Like cricket the SC must throw out politicians from all the sports bodies in India. Indian sports have been spoiled and corruption is rampant in most of the sports bodies and that is why a nation of 120 crrores please always draw blank from the Olympics.

Okay. you support Sc for this silly thing. Now let me ask you simple question. Even a SC Judge himself has put on record that selection of the judges by colligium is not transparent and need to be changed. When NJAC was passed by parliment and approved by president who is constitutional head of teh state the SC struck it down. Why Sc is not willing to clean their own stable. It is clear that SC want to have a control over the selection of BCCI board. Nothing else. First clean your house and their point finger to others. People still hold trust on the courts. Why the same SC was not strict on the order passed for release of Cavery water. Court order is a order no body can violate. Courts cannot be selective in implementing the orders.

i dont support sc for NJAC case... and strongly against it... actually what was our head of the country doing??? if he take action SC forced to do accept the NJAC. All head of the nation (Pres. ) to do is to make a statement that SC is wrong in the matter... because if Pres. decided he can remove top of SC head..

Sorry sir, President can only appoint judge. removal of judge is a big procedure. It is called impeachment. There is no accountability of the judges after appointment. First check up

SC is not going to clean its own stable because it is too inconvenient.

It's so sad that the SC responds in a flash to everything done by the BCCI, but does nothing about the crores of cases pending for ages together. Isn't that more important >
