But how come they call for emergency meeting and decide to transfer 400 crores? Seems to be a case of funds being siphoned off before they are removed. And Thakur gets the qualification of cricketer just by playing one match for the sake of "enrolling" for a degree course? That's similar to degree from JNOU.
Why should we put the blame on Anurag Thakur. All his predecessors including Mr. Pawar, Mr. Manohar and so on have all be enjoying at the cost of BCCI's funds. Before passing any order against the current administrators of BCCI, Supreme court should ensure that Lodha committee ensures all international commitments are honoured by the new bunch of administrators which will put to rest tensions of players and ICC. Otherwise ICC will suspend India from membership which may other countries would welcome as they want this to happen and we are sidelined.
Present BCCI Board feels they are above the Apex Court. They are supported by Office Bearers of the past Presidents. One or the other way they want to stick to their chairs although they have crossed their age of 70. They want to be in the lime light.
Philanthropy at its worst! common BCCI enough either dilute the association or follow Lodha guidelines. you all had enough at Public Money. this involves the state cricket boards. Once you in line all other associations -some of them with life long presidents also will get kicked out. Don't be arrogant.
