SRINIVASAN VENKATES
Wrong Tactic by England.
by SRINIVASAN VENKATES on Nov 25, 2016 09:09 AM

They are underestimating Indian batsman. If Kohli is got out cheaply then we have got plenty of batsman to score. K L Rahul, Murali Vijay & Rahane always plays whenever team needs it. Last test Murali Vijay fails. But he will perform this time. Because Vijay is a consistent performer & not shown as a consistent failure. He will be back in this test. Even our lower order nowadays are very strong. If Bhuvi returns, then he is a good batsman in tail. England should not forget about Bhuvi's performance in England scoring 3 consecutive 50's. In fact Bhuvi & Shami scored 100 run partnership for last wicket. Even Shami scored 50.Dont worry Cook boys. You are going to lose the series.

It is a Very Old Tactic

Even Steve Waugh used this very same Psychological Attack - "You Target the Captain of The Ship, and he Falls, with his crewmen and the entire Team collapses behind him".

England need to get The Toss Right, Bat First & Score Heavily, Later get Virat and other batsmen Out cheaply.

Indian Team is No Longer "One Man One Army" like Sachin Tendulkar's Era - Nowadays even our Tailenders bat pretty well. Earlier we would collapse in a heap after 6th wicket fell. Now it is no longer the same case.

England should not forget if Kohli fails backups are equally strong. In any innings it is one or two batsman who fire. So Rahane is in waiting. He should not be underestimated.
