Kartik is a proven failure in international cricket and KL Rahul is only a part timer. Please do some research before posting logic less comments

We need full time keeper. Not a part time keeper like KL RAHUL or Robin Uthappa, or Kedar Jadhav. Even Karthik is not playing as a keeper for his TN team. All these KARTHIK, OJHA are only domestic players. Best choice Sanju Samson. He is a wicket keeper batsman. But Saha is a keeper who can also bats a bit. That's all
Rishabh Pant or Ishan kishan would have been better choices than parthiv. Both these youngsters are performing exceptionally well in Ranji both in batting and wicket-keeping. Any way hope parthiv justifies selector's faith.

Wonder which way he is better? he is one guy who ensured that India did not win the Sydney test in 2004 as he dropped crucial catches. This was Steve Waugh's last test and we were with a chance to win the series. A cool guy like Rahul Dravid was reacting as Parthiv Patel kept dropping catches.

Do not judge by one test... Dhoni is called finisher... How many tests we have lost... Kapildev..in England Sunil Gavaskar had made 222 ... Kapil played bad shot... We lost the winning game... Such incidents happen with every one... But we have to look overall performance n approach....

But he is not a good keeper & not a good batsman against best fast bowlers like Anderson, Broad,Finn, STarc, Malinga. He can play only against medium fast bowlers, and not capable of facing yorkers. He is a burden. Sanju Samson & Risabh Pant are the better choices. Let Parthiv should play all the remaining 3 matches. Perhaps this may be the last chance to play for India.
