Amit Mishra is a must in the team. Only if he relies more on his googlies. Infact he will be a success if he pitches on the off or slightly away on the off side and spin either ways i am sure the English batmen will be in trouble. Moreover i would prefer if we can drop a fast bowler and adopt the starategy of Bangla desh to open with a spinner. English will dread spin in the opening overs and may succumb to the close field in pressure. Worth a try.
our spinners bowled badly in both the innings, they have not maintained length and not attacked batsmen at all. if vizag pitch remains spinner friendly then Indian batsmen will have to watch for England spinners.surely England will have upper hand in any case unless our trio improves.
None of our spinners have been effective against England in the first test match. Similarly Gautam Gambir, Rahane, Saha also performed well below their capability. However,on the basis of one bad performance they should not be dropped. With K.L. Rahul showing his fitness by playing well for Karnatka in Ranji Trophy we may consider him to partner Vijay.
