Cook may have broken Tendulkar's record no doubt. However do not forget the fact that Tendulkar had to face world's top class deadly fast bowlers like Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram , Malcolm Marshall, Courtney Walsh, Curtly Ambrose, Allan Donald, Shaun Pollock, Merv Hughes, Bruce Reid, Craig McDermott,Glen McGrath,Brett lee, Richard Hadlee, etc. As also Top class spinners like Shane Warne, Muttiah Muralitharan, Saqlain Mustaq, etc. All of which bowlers have today taken to retirement.
we have a lot of good players in this world who are better than ex players but dont know why we always compare better players with past good for nothing players who made records by playing too many matches and got chance because of a political backing.
