1. Batted first against the trend in this IPL in two important matches and lost. 2. More relied on Thissara Perera, due to his inability two to three matches have been lost, he is a flop in WCT20 and IPL. 3. Adam Zampa should have been used from game 1st onwards. 4. More relied on R P Singh, though slightly better in first spell of last but previous match, besides poor show of M. Ashwin and Ishant Sharma. 5. Reshuffling of batting order in the previous match though strip is not conducive for batting. 6. Poor assessment on team combination and pitches.

He has always been a poor captain who rides on luck and hard work of Dada, Kumble as captain.
