I was always eagerly waiting for the firm, clear and audible voice of Tony Cozier whether it was in Radio or TV. Great loss for cricket. No body else ca be Tony Cozier. May his soul rest in peace. Hats off to Great Man.
IT IT SAD FOR CRICKETING WORLD ESPECIALLY WEST INDIAN CRICKET HE HAD A SWEET VOICE WITH VERY GOOD ACCENT. IT WAS PLEASURE HEARING HIM ON RADIO THOSE DAYS WHEN THE WEST INDIES WERE RULING THE CRICKET WORLD UNDER CLIVE LLOYD.WE WILL MISS YOU TONY.
His commentary used to reproduce the field in front of your sight. Very knowledgeable, very lively full of humour, was he. No one from my generation who were young people in 70s can forget his commentary and the way he used to pronounce Indian Players' name like Ghaaveri(read Ghavri) and Mankat(Read Mandkad)and GAAVAASKAR(Gavaskar).RIP Tony Cozier. With passing away of great radio commentators like you the era of exciting radio commentary has almost ended.
