Kapidev is a very good player. But his contribution for Indian Cricket is not remembered.BCCI does not like to use his service for the team .As long as this kind of discrimination continues no body can help our game and our team.
If we look at the matches in this tournament, then we can analyse & say that Indian team deserved to come to the semis & no more. The way we defeated Bangladesh & made heavy weather of par score against Australia clearly showed that we lacked batting & bowling depth. In a team of 11 at least 7-8 players has to perform in tandem & at their peak to lift the cup. For India barring Kolhi, Nehra & to some extent MSD himself, nobody was performing at their peak. You cannot expect to win a WC with just 3 players performing out of 11.
We were lucky entering semifinal because of suisidal performance of Bangladesh. We realy proved as champion on performance of lonely Virat in match with Pakistan& Austrelia.It shows that joit performance of our Bowlers and Baters were not concient.We have neglect prvious victories against other other teamd keeping 6 wickets intact.It shows we are over depentant on our spinners.The game was good Westindies deserve the VICTORY.
Poor team selection and playing with a team of non performers and unfit players is key reason for defeat .Past we had Sachin as savoir now we have Virat ,Dhoni should admit somehow managed till semi was only because of Virat Kohli. India's bowling is below average as if playing street gully cricket.Dont know what is the role of few players in Indian team are they good in batting or bowling. Indian team needs to work really hard on all disciplines. Time to give more chances to youngsters and selection should be made based on performance.
India most probably would have won the semifinal game against the West indies, had they won the toss and chased a target instead of setting a target, as has happened. They definitely missed an economy bowler and a useful batter in the form of Yuvaraj singh.All the talk about 2 no balls etc is Just rubbish, since \\\'no balls\\\' are part and parcel of the game. Even inclusion of Habhajan singh might have improved the Performance of the team.Any way, best wishes to Dhoni boys in future and congratulations to the West indies team.

What was Suresh Raina's role in this world cup? All Dhoni's team mates were picked instead of talented and inform players. Don't know why they did not play Manish Pandey?
