Simply brilliant. It is not just this innings but what is a pleasant surprise is that although Virat was the best in the Indian side earlier too but he is suddenly looking infallible and 100% dependable as never before as if he has got some boon from the Trimurtys ,B,V & M.! While his fellow cricketers in the side must not put too much pressure on him to bail out the side every time but there is no doubt that he is looking a different Virat 2.0 perhaps practicing the rigors of discipline and sacrifices of life of Sachin both ON and Off the field. I do not see any other rational explanation for the change. Moreover why Virat is likely to overtake Sachin’s record is Sachin was not as lucky in his early phase of career as Virat to have as many brilliant fellow cricketers . Now coming to the match, Virat won the match alright but the way Dhoni pulled back the game in the middle overs from 60 runs in 4 overs using his bowlers is simply unbelievable. While he might not be successful every time but I wonder how many captains can do that ! Then that running between wickets. Wonder if a new Dhoni-Virat And this is real captaincy, the way he suddenly switched to Yuvi while he normally goes to Raina otherwise ! Yuvi delivered too and Jadeja was also brilliant. So were Nehra, Bumra and Pandya. The way Ashwin came back to claim Warner shrugging off his first over was commendable. I wish Ashwin had completed his full quota of overs !On the other hand inexperience was showing on the part of rival captain Steve Smith the way he committed few mistakes in bowling changes. Even otherwise their bowling attack had not been very effective in Indian conditions except for the ever green Watson who is the best T20 bowler . Besides, the Aussies are missing Mitchel Starc.They will have to rebuild their side for sure.
It was just marvelous batting by Virat Kohli dthat saw India through into semifinals of the World T20. What a co-ordination between brain and brawn, mind and body between eye and hands and with skipper Dhoni, it was just mind blowing effort that brought India triumph. Hats off Virat, u r the best. Only I wish Rohits, Shekhar and Raina learnt to use their heads and not repeatedly getting out in almost identical fashion. Wake boys, follow Virat.
