What is wrong in his statement ? He spoke the truth
by Hindustani on Mar 24, 2016 10:14 AM

All Kashmiri people support Pakistan from their heart. Indian Army was the one who saved their lives from the flood but they are such a poisonous snakes that they call Indian Army rapists.
All these Kashmiri's actually deserve to kick back in Pakistan that is their real place. When they will go there they will get the treatment they deserve of that of stray dogs & that is their real worth.

Shahid Afridi is a smart guy. he knows his cricketing career is over after this World T20 tournament. He is building base for his political career post retirement by making statements about Kashmiris supporting Pakistan ;)

Unwarranted Interference
by C V on Mar 24, 2016 09:41 AM

I guess people, including some media, have no other work. If at all anyone wants to react to such comments, they could do it privately, within their group. It is not at all in the interest of the nation to waste time by such persons on media, etc.

If Afridi has said anything that is detrimental to the interests of India, then reacting to such acts and for taking up suitably with Pakistan government, we have authorities, including the government in place and let them do their job.

By unwarrantedly interfering in such issues by persons who have no authority, it will work against the interest of the nation, including wastage of invaluable time of people; media interference, etc. It must be avoided.

Anyone can express their reaction but it should be confined to their group so that such reaction does not work against the nation.

Maybe Shahid Afridi Might Join Pakistani Politics soon
by RSS on Mar 24, 2016 09:33 AM

Maybe Shahid Afridi Might Join Pakistani Politics soon - Like his Countryman Imran Khan - That is why he is making such Marquee comments in India :

1) He said that Indians Love him more than The Whole of Pakistan have given him Love & Appreciation - Seems like the Cheap Indian Politicians who go to any length to Woo Voters for their Support & victory.

2) Says Kashmiris have come to cheer Pakistan at Mohali - Why not Pakistanis themselves might have come into India with Visas & Special permission for this T20 World Cup event - Also Mohali is located nearby to India & Pakistan border.

I see a Cunning, Manipulative & Deceptive Indian Politician in him more than a Pakistani Captain or cricketer.

Afrodo's comment on 'Kashmir
by Sasidharan Nair on Mar 24, 2016 06:46 AM

This statement be taken as a cowardice of this vanquished Pakistani cricketer; no more than it! He is really scared of the backlash back home; so he tries to send a feeler by holding the umbrella on Kashimir issue! Anyway, chappals, rotten eggs are sure being readied to his welcome on his homeland. Let him first face that music! The so called supporters from Kashmir is not going to save him from what is in store for him on return! And that's the answer for his politically motivated incitement.

Please avoid such comments; Indian civility demands that! Idiots are here, there and everywhere; let there be no presumption that even you are not the one you talk about! Let's be fair in words!

Non-issue

Afridi probably meant that spectators from J&K would support Pak team, in the absence of the India team, who was not playing the match. Why are we so jealous if someone supports them ? BCCI ,Thakur and Shukla are wasting time and breath on trivial issues.

how did he come to know that that faction of spectators are from particular state , can he recognize the people of different states, or just he made another politiciacal statement to appease their bosses in Pakistan who are already annoyed with him because of his poor game and previous comment.
Earlier I used to appreciate this player but this time , he is not doing well in cricket.

whenever there is India-pak talks Kashmir is their main agenda. that's how the so called secular Government has survived in pakistan. Afridi, presently sitting on a hot plate, had to make such comments to please his country-men.

Paki is a permanent loser. And they revert to their tribe (apni jat pe jate hai) at any time. See how this afridi talks of kashmiri (read muslim) support to their team. And they ofcourse lost........
