INDIA IS A SUPERIOR SIDE.PAK CAN'T BEAT INDIA
by damodaran mohan on Mar 18, 2016 01:52 PM

True after the loss to NZ India is under pressure but qualitatively as a cricketing side India is a superior side.I think Pak stands no chance against India although their bowling looks formidable. However once India gets past the initial overs safely then they stand better chance. Yes, Afridi could be a danger man more as a bowler than as a batter. However Afridi lacks Dhoni's acumen and tactics as captain in T20 version, a reason why England is losing in spite of brilliant individual players.Fielding wise too Pak and Eng are not up to the mark. So I do not fully agree with Gavaskar because the loss to NZ was due to India failing to adapt and apply which i am sure they would not repeat.India should play same XI as they don't have any leg-spinner who could have been tried in place of Pandya.

My guess tomorrow India will loose to Pakistan and will be out of world cup. You cannot loose to a third class country New Zealand team. New Zealand is a backward third class nation which has nothing in it to give to world. Third class education system and governance

In comparison India is one of the MOST CORRUPT, MOST UNHYGIENIC, MOST DIRTY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

India rank high in crimes. Crimes against women, rape, violence. In human development index India is at the bottom place along with some african & arabic countries.

India rank high in female infanticide, backwardness, lack in basic healthcare, sanitation.

EVEN COUNTRIES LIKE BANGLADESH & PAKISTAN RATE HIGHER THAN INDIA WHEN IT COMES TO BASIC HYGIENE.

NEARLY 1/2 OF INDIAN POPULATION DON'T EVEN HAVE TOILETS TO USE, THEY DEFECATES IN OPEN.

IT'S REALLY SAD THAT AFTER MAKING SO MUCH DEVELOPMENT IN FIELDS LIKE IT, WE ARE SO BACKWARD IN ALL THESE BASIC THINGS.

WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO TO EVEN COMPARE OURSELVES WITH A COUNTRY LIKE NEW ZEALAND.......

If india lose, T20 world cup will be a flop. I don't think it will happen, we saw in west indies(7 national game surviing just because of indian fans and money) , so all the team would support Indian team, even pak also support.. money is the key, otherwise I don't think India make semifinal spot..

Well said. But if underworld stands to gain 2007 50 over world cup may repeat itself. We can accuse Modi that he has done nothing to remove corruption in cricket. Are we preparing for another series like 'Award Wapsi/ Intolerance drama'. Anyway UP elections are nearing. India will lose the match going by your educated analysis it seems.

No current indian team better than pak, but very far from Australia, my thoughts Australia and new ziland deserve semifinal, not pak or india..

Sunil Gavaskar is 100% right
by gladson on Mar 17, 2016 09:35 PM  | Hide replies

Sunil Gavaskar has said it right. India will be under pressure, because of losing the opener, and pakistans record of not losing a match at Eden Gardens. and i feel MS Dhoni's skill in taking the right decisions at the right time would help India put it across pakistan this weekend. that for me and many of the Indian fans, would be like winning the T20 2016.
