There were 6 spinners used from both sides and R Ashwin was the ONLY ONE who proved to be a dud...I don't why he forgot to bowl properly on a track where every other spinner bowled very well??
The contention that "India, were undone at their own game in their own conditions" shows that the writer knows nothing of Indian cricket or politics. Not for nothing are India known as flat track bullies. It is simple mathematics. India plays 95 % of its games of flat tracks, where Dhoni's bullies score heavily 9 out of 10 times. Its only on the rest of 5 % tracks that the bullies are exposed. This hardy matters. Now hopefully India will play the rest of the games of super flat tracks and Dhoni's bullies will blow most of the opposition to smithreens. Plus think of the match fixing and betting angle. If India keeps winning everything, the tournament becomes dull and predictable, gate collections drop. Organisers [read fixers] would never like this to happen anyhow. Now that India have lost, that element of uncertainty has cropped it, ensuring betting to go in full blast, gate receipts will get a boost.
Till the time politicians are involved in selection of the team this is going to happen. Their they select on the basis of present form and not on Religion, state or political parties.
was great & for them to quickly read the pitch & analyze the conditions augurs well for them. What about team India, do they know what should be the right combination for the match?

Any TWO of top five batsmen ought to have played till 15 overs. Dhoni and Pandya are being trained for big hits. Atleast Virat should have continued with Dhoni till 15/16 th overs. Then the game would have been different.
