I presume an Australia vs England Match will have High Profile & Exceptionally Talented Players competing with each other for Victory and there is Intense competition with Hunger for Success from both the teams.
Unfortunately an India vs Pakistan Cricket match cannot be compared with an England vs Australia match either in Class, nor on Merit !!!!

Shame on the RSS/BJP Govt. for not being able to provide adequate security in one of their own fiefdoms. Now we know what Anuragh Thakur is capable of. Other than holding a BCCI post being a RSS/BJP nominee and misrepresenting facts in parliament [remember what Prof. Sugata Bose pointed out in his erudite speech], what is his track record to hold such a high post ? It is really a sad indictment on an intolerant Govt. not to be able to find a safe place other than Kolkata's iconic Eden. West Bengal is the only major state in India with no communal strife for the past 65 years. Though it is industrially one of the most backward states,when it comes to communal tension, the people of Bengal have always summarily rejected communal parties from spreading their cancerous ideology.
Sport is a healer and as such it should be played more and more. But, we Indian Subcontinent People (Pakistan incl.) care more about Emotions and Sentiments than Practical Approach. The Handful of People who caused hurt and handful of People who got Hurt will not let the others participate in the Joy of Sport. The worst offenders is the Political Leadership on both sides.
