The mess is BCCI continues. One goes, another comes. First it was N. Srinivasan, then came jagmohan Dalmia and now Anurag Thakur and Shashank Manohar. Since Srinivasan didnot have much support and Jaggu dada took his place, the final of WT20 was already awarded to Kolkata 18 months before the tournament. But due to sudden demise of Dalmia S Manohar became BCCI Chief and he and Thakur allot all and most important matches to their home grounds i.e HPCA and Vidharbha Cricket Association, Jamtha. Moreover the prestigious match of India and Pakistan was awarded to small non test centre Dharamshala with only capacity of 28000 instead of other bigger grounds in the country. The schedule was announced very late. Ticket started to sell at the very last minute. It was very unfortunate of the CM of HP to give such statement in public. This whole drama has tarnished the image of India Cricket in front of the world and have given substance to the Pakistan's verdit that india is not safe for them to travel. Why not they shift the venue to avoid all these emabarrasment. Pakistan has now all right to look after the security of his players and officials.
Pakis have always been begging to come and play in India, be it IPL or any other tournament. They know where the money is. This security nonsense is just grandstanding on their part. India and ICC should just put the ball in their court by saying - Your decision. Come if you want to. Or stay at home and pay the fines that will be imposed! See them come running with their tails between their piggy legs.
How about security plan for your camel and horse? Security is for team, others can stay at home if they doubt it buddy. Take your drama somewhere else.
