Then why not have the Pakistani players in the IPL or play Test cricket with them? Why such a double standard on the part of the BJP?

Why only Cricket Matches should make an exception ?
by Hindustani on Mar 01, 2016 03:20 PM  | Hide replies

1)We invite Pakistan's artists to perform in our movies and praise their looks & acting.

2)We offer their musicians to give the music in Bollywood movies & make that music hit.

3)We offer their singers to sing the songs in Bollywood movies & make that songs chartbusters.

4)We invite their retired cricketers as commentators and coaches of our IPL teams & listen to their commentary with keen interest.

5)We invite their X-cricketers to our training academies to gain their valuable knowledge & inputs which would be beneficial to our young cricketers.

6)Our PM goes to meet Sharif as a surprise visit & claims that it was non-official & casual visit to attend some family function.

7)We have started the Samjhouta Express with the intention to develop the communication between the two countries.

8) We promote our Bollywood films there & expect them to do good business there.

If we are doing all these things & allowing all the above things with Pakistan without any problems, then WHY NOT CRICKET ?

WHY ONLY CRICKET MATCHES SHOULD MAKE EXCEPTION ?

IF WE DON'T WANT ANY RELATION WITH PAKISTAN THEN WE WILL HAVE TO STOP ALL THE ABOVE THINGS FIRST.

WHAT'S THE POINT IN JUST NOT PLAYING CRICKET ?

WHAT PURPOSE DOES IT GOING TO SERVE ?

Indo-Pak Cricket Match
by paliakara narayanan sreenivasan on Mar 01, 2016 02:29 PM

We, Indians, specifically the Cricket Lovers, have to decide whether a relationship with an enemy country, with whom we are at constant war, can be carried in different platforms with differenct moods and behaviour. If love with neighbour, in art and sports, can continue simultaneously and we see this an opportunity to unite the people who hate hate, and want peace, we should accept that the Jawans, who are fighting the enemy at the border are being short changed. To be just, these jawans should be permitted to be part of the Cricket clubs and bat in the cricket field and the professional cricketers, some of whom have been given complementary army rankings, should serve the army at the points where the shelling and gun fight is going on.
The fact is, the organisers of Cricket see money in it and it is entertainment money for them at the mockery of the Indian Army. And I still doubt, whether the politicians are serious about our relationship with the neighbour whose public is kept at ransom by its army. Are we sacrificing the lives of our beloved sons and daughters who join army for the sake of these greedy politicians?
