frankly, you did not mess up when you suggested greg...it was because of him that the new generation players got chances, and confidence and were established by the time the older generation players retired...it was because of greg'w work with the new generation players that we won the tri series in aus and the t20 wc in SA...if not for greg the older generation players would have played the tri series and the t20 wc and we would have won neither...
and his stint as a coach was successful to except the odi wc...

we won away test series...something like 17-18 odis consecutively while chasing etc...Except the odi WC he was successful in terms of team's winning results too...

i said except that wc we were successful under greg...can you read?
under greg we won something like 18 odis in succession while chasing...we won away series....one failure is quite ok...
also only older generation players complained against him....none of the new generation players have said anything against greg...even the pathan brothers (irfan career was supposedly destroyed by greg) selected greg as a mentor for their cricket academy...

Young players, who, Sehwag. Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Jaheer?? Difficult to remember a single young player groomed by Greg who contributed later. Poor Pathan even forgot his bowling, another bet was Venugopal as a replacement of Ganguly. Manager of T-20 WC winning team was Lalchand Rajput & not Greg.
Yes.That was the saddest page of the history of Indian Cricket. Saddest, because one interloper pulled the rug under Ganguly's feet & became the captain, but couldn't handle responsibility, so gave it up. Who else but rahuul dravvid!!!!

dravid was a successful captain except for that wc...under him we even won away test series...
even all of ganguly's test successes have come because of dravid...just check dravid performance under ganguly...without dravid ganguly would have had no test success...
