may be good player in past, recently he is not scoring runs, this match loss is due to dhoni inability to score runs

DHONI CANNOT BE BLAMED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THE LOSS AGAINST MINNOWS. THE TARGET OF THE LAST BALL TO END UP ON WINNING SIDE WAS 4 FROM 1 DELIVERY. THIS EQUATION MAKES IT TOUGH. THE ONLY POSSIBILITY IS THE BOWLER HAS TO FALTER/ COMMIT MISTAKE LIKE BOWLING A NOBALL, WIDE, A FRONT FOOT NOBALL IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE TO THE CHASING TEAM. SINCE IT ADDS 1 TO THE SCORE, BESIDES 1 EXTRA DELIVERY & FREE HIT. THIS CHANGES THE EQUATION RADICALLY & WILL BE IN FAVOUR OF CHASING TEAM. & IF DHONI IS ON STRIKE, WHO KNOWS THE NEXT BALL MAY TRAVEL MANY DISTANCE OVER THE ROPES.

true reddy...he wants others to take as much responsibility as they can...thats why he tried to take as much less strike as he could...otherwise no way in normal situations he would take run of the first ball of the last over...normally he would have batted all the last over himself...

he wanted somebody else to take responsibility and finish the match...so he let go of the strike in the last over which in normal conditions would never have happened...

Reddy, why did he not want to give a chance to other player even for a Zimbabwe tour? It happens, L0L

Reddy, if he really wanted others to benefit he would be taking rest for an irrelevant tour like this. Oh I forgot, he cannot be questioned since he has a big following of dogs who fight tooth and nail to prove his actions right.

he could have taken rest on this irrelevant tour but he wanted to share his experience with the youngsters and guide them...a chance he would otherwise never have...no harm in that...at the most he is just blocking one place...

you are talking as if by going on this tour he has harmed chances of a lot of players...

and anyway kohli's preference is saha ...so it is not as if we dont know which wicket keeper is going to take dhoni's place...

L0L, and he shared his experience too well yesterday. I love your desperation in getting creative while searching for excuses. The point here is not knowing who will take Dhonis "place" if you want to understand, but denying a chance to others.

You are 100% right. Suddenly out of the blue he wants to "share" his experience. It is never a harm as long it is the supreme leader L0L.

we all know there are only a few real wicket keepers like saha, naman ojha, parthiv patel dinesh karthik etc...did they need to go on this tour?

are you upset/angry just because somebody like uthappa, samson, rahul or such other part-time/occasional wicket keeper did not get a chance to keep wickets on this tour? really should the national teams have such wicket keepers?

I am not upset on anything except that a genuine keeper has been sidelined even for a insignificant tour like this. And I dont even care about the"greatest" captain not "singlehandedly" winning the game yesterday like he "always" did according to fantards

ok so you tell me which young wicket keeper you think would have gone/should have gone instead of dhoni....(btw dhoni has always avoided such insignificant tours before this...the first time he does this and you jump in anger)

if regular experienced keepers like saha ojha parthiv or dinesh had gone in place of dhoni it would have been ok for you? this too would have defeated the purpose of youngster getting a chance...

please tell which fine young wicket keeper missed the bus because of dhoni according to you?

I would still bat for DK or Saha, or even try experimenting with a new person like CM Gautham (may be just 4-5 years younger than Dhoni, but I feel it would have been better). On the contrary you seem to be in anger trying to defend the supreme leader.

no point in taking DK or saha...they are experienced enough...not much difference in they going to zim or dhoni...

C M Gautam is ok....lets see if the same wicket keeper plays all formats or if there will be different wicket keepers for different formats...but in all previous ''insignificant tours'' gautam was not considered...so am doubtful if he would have gone if dhoni had skipped....i still think somebody like uthappa or samson or rahul would have played...in that case we would not have gained much in regards to our next wicket keeper...

if we keep same wicket keeper for all formats in all probability it will be saha....

if we get different wicket keeper for shorter formats only then somebody like CM Gautam etc. can get a chance...if he is in the eyes of selectors he will get chances in future too...if selectors preferred giving youngsters a chance to share experience of dhoni in place of taking gautam it is their prerogative...

For you it does not make a difference, for others including the younger keepers it does. And as you imply, even now India has not gained anything with ref to the future keeper. This is obviously a failure on the part of selectors to not think about long term plans.

For you there may be no value in gaining something from dhoni's experience.... obviously the selectors think otherwise and have a belief in this side getting some benefit and perspectives from dhoni's experience...

can you tell me which genuine wicket keeper has been sidelined for this insignificant tour because of dhoni...all these genuine wicket keepers are good enough and dont really need to go on this insignificant tour either...

i assure you if dhoni had not gone on this tour not saha ojha parthiv or karthick would have gone but some non regular like uthappa samson rahul etc...so no need really for you to go bonkers that dhon went to zim...

Youngsters being sidelined is OK for the fans of the supreme leader. But when it came to situations like 4-5 years ago it was all about young guns and chances for others and new talent. As they say "communist till you get rich". Another hypocrisy when you say other keepers being sidelined is OK but Dhoni playing it is OK! And how come you are so sure? Are you a mouthpiece of BCCI or its selection committee? And L0L, last time DJ was the keeper and VK was the captain in the 2013 series.

L0L, you feel he needs to be"followed"to prove his actions wrong? And yes, there are always a few fanatic dogs who drag others to their level by hyping him to the sky. There is actually no harm in being killer dogs to hunt down fanatic dogs.
