Why are none of them attributing to the high quality Zimbabwe lineup? Each guy wants to claim his killer instinct and improvement in talent!! People should learn to speak less in front of the camera.

Most of the newcomers say I have to learn a lot, I have to improve a lot and so on.If it is so then why they play competitive cricket in the first place and why they try to get into national side and play international cricket? I know they are professional cricketers and would like to earn more and recognized more but i think if they are not confident of their abilities then they should not play international cricket.
I know learning is a continuous process but at international level you are expected to perform well from day one. It is ok, if they say the conditions are alien to me or the quality of cricket is quite higher than he is used to or the team environment on and off the ground is different to whatever he faced so far and such small reasons. But the moment he says he needs to improve his game a lot then he is unfit for international cricket. One is expected to be specialist for whatever he is selected for and must excel in it instead of inventing excuses. The player has to improve upon the mental strength, physical strength, confidence, attitude, communication skills, able to face and accept various cultures and many such soft skills.
I hope my point is clear. Once the player is selected in the team, he should be interviewed and if the selectors find that the played is not confident enough or overconfident then they should be sent to conditioning camp where they can learn communication and other soft skills. The player should be in the team only if they pass the test.
