The God of cricket did not do good do his own mother state Maharashtra when poor farmers committed suicide. The fund given to school is from Parliament and not from his pocket. His earnings are not for social obligations but for profit so he invested in Telangana. Spending public exchequers money is not charity.

Sachin is a nominated MP fromn 2012 april and he gets MP Local Area Development Fund which he can spend for any where in India since he is a nominated MP. Her gets Rs. 5 crores for this and so all other MPS of Rajy Sabha and LokSabha MPs get the money. That Sachin has also adopted a village in AP which he is building with his MPLAD money. It is good that he is seen to be doing this. But WB has 16 MPs in Rajy Sabha of which 12 are from TMC, Loksabha MPs number 42 and more than 30 are from TMC. All the MLAs are supposed to be geting their Local Area Development fund of Rs, 45 Lakh every year it is amusing that no MPs from WB did or have ever done such work, atleast people do not know it. Sachin apart from being a rich man which his cridcket has made and it is good that is his hard earned money but since he became Bharat Ratna Awardee on 4 Feb\'14 he gets apart from facilities of VVIPs a Pension of half the salary of Prime Minister of India and at present lPM gets Rs. 1.6 lakhs pm. What I mean is that he must spend these money for such development which would inspire other MPS to do the same or put them to shame for not doing the same.

Tendulkar sponsors 200 underprivileged children every year through Apnalaya, a Mumbai-based NGO associated with his mother-in-law, Annabel Mehta.[402][403] A request from Sachin on Twitter raised ₹1.02 crore (US$150,000) through Sachin's crusade against cancer for the Crusade against Cancer foundation.[404][405] Sachin Tendulkar spent nine hours on the 12-hour Coca-Cola-NDTV Support My School telethon on 18 September 2011 that helped raise ₹ 7 crore – ₹ 2 crore more than the target – for from the creation of basic facilities, particularly toilets for girl students, in 140 government schools across the country

Funding a school's development.

It is clearly written in the report that it is funded from MP's funds. IFF (this is 'if And only if' in mathematics, all the MPs & MLAs in the nation take care of education, primary & secondary education will be well attended. Anyway, he has done all this for a noble work from his MP fund, instead of wasting on temples. Be happy and try to inculcate this habit in all the MPs and MLAs. Sachin, well begun.

Yes:from Govt Funds Only? His efforts stand nowhere when they are compared to those of Nana Patekar. We
Wonder how much efforts did Sachin put in/contribute
to mitigate Farmers suicides, from his own pocket?

He never did any thing good for a social cause except making millions and invested money everywhere. Charity is not the game of a person called God of cricket. And all know what cricket is associated with.

Before criticizing Tendulkar, you have not criticized the sitting MLAs and MPs.
You seem to be absolutely biased. An obstacle in the path of good work being done in society.
By the way, did Sachin claimed anywhere that he has done this work?
Useless Patel
