Although the Kumble-Kohli combine must be full of confidence going into the 2nd Test but given the high bar the team has set for themselves maintaining that level is not going to be easy. WI having learnt from their mistakes must be preparing to come back stronger applying course corrections and new strategies. There are already talks of inducting a talented rookie pacer for better effectiveness on a green top. WI can certainly draw comfort from the fact that their lesser known batters applied themselves well and should the seniors too come good then their batting could certainly click. Coming to India they are having a dream run as far as their bowling is concerned. However Mishra could be yet again feel let down should he be dropped after a creditable performance. It is always better not to disturb the winning combo except for forced replacement for Murali Vijay due to injury. Although India won with ease but the batting--opening and the m.o are yet to prove themselves on consistency .Question is what happens should Kohli get out cheaply? Pujara getting out making rank bad shot for umpteenth time speaks poorly of his temperament. Even Rahane is not doing full justice to his role. Dhawan too was lucky to survive the initial dozen overs. So in spite of the win the batting is certainly going to be the key for the Indians.
